What to expect from our accommodation cleans?

Routine cleaning includes dusting, wiping, and sanitizing accessible surfaces, cleaning high-touch areas on furniture, polishing mirrors, vacuuming and mopping hard floors and/or carpets, as well as emptying all waste bins.

Bathroom Maintenance

  • Clean shower, glasses, mirrors, bathtub, toilet, sink.

  • Change mats and towels.

  • Replace hand towel and bath mat.

  • Restock toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, and body wash.

Bedroom

  • Spot clean wardrobe surfaces.

  • Change bed linen for one bed, including the quilt cover, pillowcase, and sheet set.

  • Replace towels.

  • Vacuum underneath the bed if accessible.

Kitchen

  • Clean the external stove, splash-back, cupboards, sink, and both inside and outside of the microwave.

  • Spot wipe accessible inside bottom surfaces of kitchen cupboards.

  • Spot wipe inside the fridge.

  • Spot wipe inside the oven.

  • Unload the dishwasher and put away the dishes.

  • Replace the tea towel.

  • Restock consumables.

  • Check inside the washing machine.

To prepare for extended stays (over 4 weeks) or for the initial rental, we strongly recommend a thorough cleaning process to ensure the property meets industry standards, especially if it has never been rented before. This includes:

  • Deep cleaning of the oven.

  • Thorough cleaning inside the fridge.

  • Comprehensive cleaning of interior cupboards.

  • Detailed cleaning of interior windows.

  • Washing of blinds.

  • Wall washing, including skirting boards.

  • Cleaning both the inside and outside of balcony door glass panels.

To ensure that Cleaners Hub Co can provide you with the best Airbnb Cleaning Experience, please take note of the following requirements:

  • Please supply us with an instructions manual that outlines your listing presentation and important information for our teams. This should include details such as parking availability and location, access instructions, and specific job specifications.

  • For small and medium-sized properties, please provide a cleaning window of 4 hours (e.g., 10 am - 2 pm or 11 am - 3 pm) to accommodate cleaning anytime before and after the set check-out and check-in times.

    For large properties, a cleaning window of 6 hours (e.g., 10 am - 4 pm) should be provided to allow cleaning between the designated check-in and check-out times.

    Guests may drop off their bags earlier and return later for check-in. Please inform Cleaners Hub Co so our teams are aware of other individuals entering the property.

  • Ensure that visitor's parking or free street parking is available during our cleaning sessions. Extra charges may apply if free parking is unavailable.

  • If you are unable to be reached due to being interstate, overseas, or having poor reception, please provide an emergency contact for us to communicate unforeseen issues.

  • Each property must have a vacuum cleaner and mop accessible, as some guests prefer to maintain the property during their stay. This also enables our teams to manage parking constraints more effectively and carry cleaning equipment for longer distances, ensuring timely service for last-minute bookings.

  • Two lockboxes with keys are required—one for guests and one for cleaners. This allows flexibility for responding to last-minute bookings and assisting guests in the event of lockouts, lost keys, or missed key returns after check-out.

  • If you opt not to use our Linen Hire Service and provide your own linen, please ensure that the supplied linen and towels are well-labeled and complete sets, including pillowcases and towels. Additional charges may apply if our teams spend extra time assembling the bedding.

    Provide a convenient alternative for our teams to drop off used linen that won't disrupt your guests' stay or incur additional charges such as travel time.

    Each bed should have:

    -4 pillowcases

    -1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 doona cover, or triple sheets for hotel-style bed making

    -1 or 2 bath towels

    You should have three full sets of linen and towels to rotate between changeovers: one set on the beds, one spare set in a lockup cupboard, and one set in the laundry for washing.

    Please note that drying machines should not be left unattended as per the safety recommendations of Fire and Rescue NSW. Cleaners Hub Co does not provide wash and dry services at the property.

  • If you choose not to include our Guest Amenities Pack, please provide a cupboard with a locker or combination lock to store linen, towels, and supplies for restocking. The cupboard key should be added to the cleaners' lockbox.
